There are some changes to the post-secondary event schedule this fall. If you want to learn more about the college and university options available to you in Ontario, take a look and get ready — some events are coming up quickly!
The Ontario Universities Fair takes place this weekend in Toronto. This huge, free event is on from 9:30-5:00 on September 27-28th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and offers the opportunity for students to gather information and ask questions from representatives of each university. Presentations by individual universities will also take place each day. You can sign up for an OUEvents Pass online to get further personalized information from any of the universities that interest you. The details on the Ontario Universities Fair, as well as on the Regional Fairs that take place throughout the fall and the Virtual Information Session on November 10th, can all be found at www.ouevents.ca/ouf/#plan-ahead.
The Ontario College Fair, on the other hand, will not be running this year. Instead, students and their families will be able to talk with representatives from the Ontario colleges to learn about the programs they offer at High School Post-Secondary Fairs taking place at their own schools or in their regions. Many colleges also present their own online information sessions for high school students — check out the websites of any colleges that interest you to see when these will be offered.
